Crisis

"Will you remain calm in times of crisis?" was a very suggestive question proposed to the delegates of our past BRIMUN edition. Fictional news reports, intelligence briefings, emergency situations, secret government letters, and unusual incidents are all part of a thoroughly-made international crisis scenario developed by a team whose sole mission is to give our delegates the chance to truly experience what is like to lead their nations in a different and highly realistic parallel world.

At BRIMUN, we underscore the importance of a crisis component as it definitely contributes to the development of special skills within those involved; the crisis is really our speciality. Rapid-thinking, stress management, and a proactive attitude are amongst the abilities mostly exercised. In addition, delegates need also to adapt their responsive actions to the foreign policies of the countries they are representing in order to react to the crisis in the most realistic manner. This requires solid background knowledge on international affairs and world relations; a truly diplomatic adventure.

Social Events

After heated committee sessions, delegates have the choice to temporarily leave behind the formalities of diplomatic debate and enjoy our diverse social program. The evenings of the conference are all filled with relaxing chill outs, exciting parties, creative workshops and tasteful restaurant dinners, all offered by our conference. We believe that BRIMUN is a fantastic chance to get to know people from all corners of the world and we do our best to give our delegates the chance to fully embrace this opportunity. Travel Opportunities

Want to get to know Germany? Bremen is a diverse and historical city in North Germany that offers a wide variety of cultural settings and touristic sights. If not enough, our participants will now have the chance to enjoy travelling opportunities to other German cities such as Hamburg and Berlin during the days subsequent to the conference. This is a new initiative available for the first time for our 09 Edition!

Meet our Contributors

BRIMUN also offers the opportunity to meet our contributors and attend provocative presentations organized by them. It is a great platform to network with competitive institutions and organizations interested in offering job and internship opportunities to our participants. Moreover, anyone part of the conference can decide to join our BRIMUN Delegate Profile Book: a handbook available to our sponsors through which they can get in contact with all interested delegates.
