Need a Visa to enter Germany?

Please bear in mind that each delegate has the responsibility to apply for a visa to enter Germany on his/her own. If you need a visa, please plan your application in advance and make sure you collect all visa requirements on time. Here below you will find some relevant information when appliying for a visa to enter Germany and other Schengen countries.

• In order to start your application, please make an appointment with the German Embassy in your country (the waiting list can be quite long at times!). Especially, delegates from African countries should make sure to apply for visa very well in advance (2-3 months  before the start of the conference) as the process often takes longer in comparison to other world-regions

• If you need any specific information for your country, search for "German Embassy and [the Capital of your country]" in any search engine, you will surely find details on the website of the German Embassy of your country

• When your application to BRIMUN is confirmed (after you have been accepted and had transferred the conference fee to us), we will send you the BRIMUN Invitation Letter via e-mail and via normal post; thereby verifying your stay in Germany. Please bear in mind that this is the only type of assistance we provide as all other visa arrangements are required to be done by you
